Used with J-5825-A to remove the crankshaft sprocket during timing chain service on 4.8L, 5.3L, 5.7L and 6.0L engines.
The crankshaft sprocket on the LSI engine is pressed on and there is limited clearance on the back side of the sprocket for its removal. The sprocket diameter and limited access preclude use of previously essential tools.
